Implementation Project Manager

Our client, a dynamic renewable energy business, is seeking a Project/Implementation Manager to lead the implementation of a supplier management system in partnership with Avetta.
This role is critical in establishing streamlined supplier processes, from onboarding to ongoing management, and ensuring compliance with governance standards.
With a strong focus on front-end management, this role requires hands-on project execution and stakeholder coordination in the early stages.
Outside IR35 £350 - £450 per day 3 Month Contract Key Responsibilities Project Management Drive the end-to-end implementation of the supplier management platform, collaborating closely with Avetta's project manager and internal IT specialists.
Ensure the project is delivered on schedule and within budget, providing regular updates and progress reports to senior stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the central liaison across the business, coordinating input and feedback from various departments, including ESG and Legal, to gather and integrate requirements.
Lead workshops and facilitate collaboration to ensure smooth adoption and system understanding among stakeholders.
Procurement and Supplier Management Align the supplier management system's functionality with procurement and risk management processes, ensuring it supports purchasing requirements and compliance.
Act as the primary contact between the business and Avetta, communicating requirements and overseeing contract delivery to ensure deadlines are met.
Process Mapping and Documentation Develop process maps and documentation for supplier onboarding, management, and business-as-usual (BAU) functions to facilitate future use and consistent governance.
Governance and Compliance Establish and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) with input from the ESG and Legal teams to guide supplier onboarding and management practices.
Key Skills and Experience Proven project management experience, ideally in implementing supplier management SaaS or similar systems.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage diplomatically and communicate effectively across functions.
Expertise in process mapping and documentation, with a focus on creating clear, actionable procedures.
Familiarity with procurement and supplier management processes, ideally with experience in a procurement team or relevant certification (e.g., CIPS).
Success Metrics and KPIs Create and monitor a project roadmap, defining objectives, milestones, and resource requirements.
Establish KPIs to track progress and ensure project success, reporting these regularly to stakeholders.
Develop SOPs and data flow mapping for supplier information within the business.
Schedule and Flexibility Full-time position with in-office presence three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
