We have a great opportunity for a confident Electrically Bias Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our clients at their busy busy manufacturing site in Maldon Essex.

This is a key role in the business and ideally we are looking for someone that already has experience with HIGH VOLTAGE but the client is happy to train and develop the right candidate to become the Appointed Person on Site.
You will be responsible for leading the already established engineering team that maintaining both the facility and equipment ensuring reliability and minimizing downtime.
This is a varying role that will see you working closely with cross-functional teams, including production, safety, and quality control, to maintain equipment and systems to the highest operational standards.
Key Responsibilities for a Electrically Bias Senior Maintenance Engineer Proven experience in maintenance and repair work within a manufacturing environment Excellent troubleshooting skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Perform preventive maintenance activities on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Respond promptly to breakdowns and resolve technical issues to minimize production interruptions.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address underlying problems, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with the team to optimize equipment settings and processes for maximum efficiency and quality.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to machinery and systems.
Maintain accurate maintenance records through full use of the CMMS System, including work orders, equipment manuals, and spare parts inventory.
Adhere to health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience for a Electrically Bias Senior Maintenance Engineer Apprentice Trained Maintenance Engineer HNC /ONC or equivalent Electrical Engineering Certification High Voltage Qualification and experience Solid understanding and experience of PLC faulting (Siemens) Work proactively managing time effectively.
Carry out work to high standards Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience Ability to read technical drawings Experience with Lathes, milling machinery would be an advantage.
Basic computer skills.
