Job summary Fixed term contract/secondment opportunity for 2 yearsWe are looking for an Immunotherapy Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Oncology & Haematology department here at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital.You will help lead and develop the immunotherapy service alongside Oncology consultants, Oncology clinical nurse specialists and Oncology consultant practitioner.This role is on a fixed term basis for 2 years.If you are considering applying for this post on a secondment basis, please discuss with your Line Manager prior to applying to ascertain whether this could be supported.
Main duties of the job As post holder you will contribute to the continued development of the specialist service with the Oncology consultants, Oncology clinical nurse specialists and Oncology consultant practitioner.
This will include the management of a caseload of patients, working at an advanced level, where they directly or indirectly influence all aspects of care and management of patients prescribed immunotherapy.You will ensure the delivery of high quality, clinically effective care, prioritising, and utilising research in everyday practice as appropriate.To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH's 'PRIDE' values of People focused, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence and demonstrate behaviours that support and encourage an inclusive culture.
