Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager with a proven track record in the Utility Renewable Energy sector at the European level.
The successful candidate will be responsible for new customer development, key account acquisition, and managing existing key accounts.
You will work closely with high-level stakeholders, ensuring sales growth, customer satisfaction, and market expansion.
This role demands strong leadership, a deep understanding of the solar utility industry, and the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop new customer relationships and acquire key accounts in the utility renewable energy sector.
- Take full ownership of assigned key account customers, ensuring their needs are met and relationships are maintained.
- Lead negotiations and provide support at the C-level with Utilities, Investors, Developers, and EPCs.
- Identify and analyze customer requirements related to products and services, ensuring alignment with company offerings.
- Take responsibility for achieving key account sales targets and overall business growth.
- Collaborate with the solution engineering team to ensure customer requirements are addressed in product development and service delivery.
- Present new products and services to key accounts, positioning the company as a leader in the renewable energy market.
- Stay informed about industry trends and conduct market analysis to drive sales growth.
- Develop innovative sales strategies to capture new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Analyze sales potential, identifying key areas for growth and improvement.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of subordinate account managers to achieve company goals.
- Oversee sales initiatives and strategies in specially assigned sectors, ensuring successful execution.
Qualifications: - Minimum 10 years of experience in the utility renewable energy sector at the European level, with a strong preference for candidates with export experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in the solar utility business across Europe.
- Fluent in spoken and written business English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Extensive experience working with Utilities, Investors, Developers, and EPCs.
- Strong background in contract negotiations, particularly with senior management and C-level executives.
- A polished and cultivated business attitude, with a professional demeanor and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel more than 60% of the time across Europe.
- Possibility of working remotely, demonstrating self-discipline and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams from different locations.
