Museum general staff monitor museum operations for the enjoyment, safety and security of Guest and the Museum of Illusions.
All staff should demonstrate exceptional customer service skills by warmly welcoming all visitors into the museum, and promptly taking care of any customer needs.What you would get to do:Present a positive and professional demeanor, as an ambassador for the Museum.Ensure guest satisfaction by providing superior customer serviceEngaging with guests, by offering assistance, Illusion explanations, photo taking, etc.Have a working knowledge of all museum exhibitions, to instruct guests and facilitate theirexperience.Participating in and/or lead special events (I.e., school field trips, group visits, birthdayparties, private rentals.Keep the museum, including bathrooms, Smartshop and outdoor entryway, free of trash anddebris.Maintain museum traffic flowRun museum reception area and perform all related taskSelling tickets, and museum merchandise.Restocking the Smartshop and merchandiseMonitor Smart Playroom – replacing missing parts, changing instruction stickers, price tags,etc.Providing "first contact" customer service to visitors – answer visitors' questions, solverefunds and discount inquiries.What you should bring along:Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office/Customer Experience Representativeor similar role;Customer service experience preferred;Great communication skills;Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise;Excellent organizational and administrative skills; andAbility to work under pressure and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritizetasks.Proficiency in English languageIf you don't think you meet all the criteria but are still interested in the job, please apply.
