Allen & York are delighted to be working with the largest trade association for the automotive sector who are looking for an IATF Certification Body Manager to join the Team to ensure smooth management and improvement of the IATF Certification Scheme.
This is a critical role for the organisation as you will be monitoring and working with the auditors who work on the IATF certification in both the UK and overseas, to identify any non-conformities and work with them to rectify these and suggest improvements.
It's expected that you'll have worked for one of the certification bodies previously who focus on IATF Reporting, and you'll be adept at managing the IATF Complaint Management Process and related procedures.
You will have working knowledge of IATF 16949 and will have conducted audits on these and you'll have sound experience of working in the automotive sector.
In addition, you will have exceptional client management skills as an important part of the role is to work with large, global certification bodies to iron out any discrepancies and advise on improvements.
Indeed, you'll be competent with the 8D approach to resolving problems and you'll possess strong problem-solving skills and you'll be articulate, confident and influential and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
It's expected you'll be well networked and to use this and your personal skills to drive engagement and raise the profile of the business.
Sound analytical skills are required and if you have experience of PowerBI would be advantageous.
Based just east of Birmingham, you will live locally as you'll be required to attend the office and also travel to their London offices on occasion, but you'll also be required to travel internationally to conduct office assessments and witness audits.
If you speak a second language, that will be advantageous however it's not essential.
