Description
Our Client - A Domiciliary Care based in Stoke-on-Trent is currently recruiting for a compassionate, caring and dedicated care assistant to join their team in delivering a high standard quality of care to their service users in line with the agreed Care Plans, whilst observing and respecting their dignity, privacy and independence.
Key Responsibilities The Care Assistant will: Deliver "hands on" care to residents in a person-centered way.
Ensure the highest level of care are provided and maintained at all times according to the care plan.
Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life.
Supports the senior carer in delivering an extremely high standard quality of care to our residents.
Model best practice when delivering care.
Assist residents in all aspects of their physical, emotional and spiritual care needs in line with agreed care plans.
Follow the agreed ways of working, reading the care plan and documenting in detail the care provided, any changes which have occurred and other relevant information.
Contribute to the daily records of residents.
Contribute to effective teamwork and undertake tasks delegated to you efficiently and effectively.
Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
Be a care assistant that is compassionate, caring, treating residents with dignity, respect, working with them as an individual, maintaining their choices, providing general care and more specialized care.
Person Specification Qualification A minimum of a caregiving certificate that covers the 15-care standards or a Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate (CNA).
IELTS UKVI test result with a minimum score of 4 in all categories A valid police clearance from the countries you've resided within the last 10 years.
Valid Drivers License Skills and Attributes Compassionate, caring and respectful, Ability to read and implement care plans.
A team player Good communication skills (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
Good organizational and problem-solving abilities Presentable with good personality Benefits This role will require 37.5 hours per week at an hourly rate of GBP 10.75 - 11.75 20 days Annual Leave Entitlement plus 8 Bank Holidays A supportive and inclusive work environment that values and rewards excellence Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
