Job Description I-Joist Designer Leeds, West Yorkshire £30,000 - £40,000 Full Time, Permanent Are you an experienced i-joist designer looking to progress your career into a managerial position?

We are working with a leading timber manufacturer based in Leeds, they are seeking a hardworking passionate i-joist designer to join their team.
This position will be involved being there for the clients, with over 25 years within the industry they are gearing up for a busy 2025 and can see this position training new member of the team throughout the year.
As a I-Joist Designer you will: \n \n Reviewing architectural drawings and working on designs of timber floor components \n Producing 3D building models, inputting architectural data into specialist CAD design software \n Prepare quotations and designs for client submission.
\n Develop cutting lists, schedules, designs, and working drawings for manufacturing and construction.
\n Provide technical support to a growing customer base.
\n \n What we are looking for: \n \n Minimum 4 years of experience in i-joist design.
\n Proficiency in CAD/Revit software.
\n Attention to detail and reliability, with a passion for timber engineering.
\n Passion to progress and develop.
\n Clear communicator and able to build relationships.
