Job Title: Hygiene Manager Location: Boston Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum Benefits: £8400 car allowance, 20% bonus and family private medical care plus many others.
Are you an experienced Hygiene Manager with a passion for excellence in food manufacturing?
Our client seeks a dynamic leader to take the lead on our hygiene operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance in their facility.
We are looking for an established Hygiene Manager for a site dedicated to Marks & Spencer's, where they produce chilled Italian ready meals and modern deli products.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and manage a large team Hygiene staff to ensure company hygiene standards are adhered to, as well as Food Safety Legislation and Customer Audits.
Initiate, review and implement 6 month strategy review for Hygiene.
Devise and implement hygiene procedures and continue their improvement so as to meet BRC and retailer audit standards.
Liaise with the Production, Quality and Technical Departments so that Continued Safety and Hygiene within the environment are assured.
Ensure that the Hygiene Team works in a safe manner, adhering to COSHH Regulations and Health & Safety protocols.
Oversee cleaning schedules and manage chemical usage to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
Continuous Improvement HR through risk assessments, audits, and root cause analysis for hygiene non-conformities.
To stay ahead of industry trends and developments, drive innovation within the hygiene function.
Key Requirements: A minimum 3 years' experience as Hygiene Manager in a food manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of managing large teams, driving high-performance standards.
In-depth knowledge of HACCP, COSHH and other food safety management systems.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
IOSH or NEBOSH desirable but not essential To be proactive in hygiene and identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
