Our client is seeking a Hydraulic Systems Engineer to work alongside the Lead Hydraulics Engineer.
You will be instrumental in the design, validation and testing of hydraulic systems for a wide range of state of the art projects.
These projects cater for varying industries with unique sets of requirements but always retain one common goal, to decarbonise the marine industry.

Responsibilities will include Collaborate with a small, dynamic team of engineers to develop systems for commercial, leisure and shipping sectors of the Marine Industry.
Design and specification of hydraulic systems from producing schematics to 3D modelling and manufacturing drawings of manifolds and other components.
Produce documentation and calculations to support designs.
Modelling of hydraulic systems with Simcenter AMEsim for validation of systems.
Develop and test hydraulic systems.
Supplier selection and management.
Commissioning and technical support for vessels.
Produce documentation and calculations to support designs.
Requirements Higher education within a Fluid Power, Mechanical, Electrical, control systems or related field.
NFPC (or equivalent) Hydraulics Training (this could be provided for a suitable candidate).
Strong understanding of Industrial and Mobile hydraulic systems and components.
Understanding of Mechanical systems.
Experience with CAD design, preferably Siemens NX.
Experience in creation of hydraulic schematics.
Bonus Skills Experience with Simcenter AMEsim simulation software.
Knowledge of marine industry, classification societies and electrical systems or PLC systems.
EPlan ECAD experience.
