About the roleAre you a hydraulic modeller seeking an opportunity to lead a wastewater Modelling team?
This role offers a unique opportunity to build and define your own team from the ground up, leading our modelling strategy to ensure alignment with organisational objectives to achieve our targets and deliver sustainable services.
You will ensure hydraulic models are precise and fit for their intended purpose, supporting project decisions, risk management, and strategic goals.As part of this role, you will develop high-quality network models that meet regulatory requirements and support long-term planning.This includes critiquing modelling proposals and reports, ensuring alignment with standards, asset needs, strategic goals, and budgets.
All of which will be done through developing a cost-effective modelling approach.Stakeholder engagement will form a foundation for this role too as you will ensure clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
As a leader you will ensure the development and ongoing support of your team.

This opportunity will see you lead and manage the development of a high-performing Wastewater Modelling team, delivering innovative and data-driven solutions to support the long-term planning and execution of wastewater interventions and programmes.You will lead and develop a skilled team of modellers, fostering expertise and best practices to enhance operational and strategic decision-making, using horizon scanning to monitor for any changes we may need to consider that would impact our plans.In addition, you will drive innovation in hydraulic wastewater modelling, implementing advanced techniques and practices that enhance efficiency and sustainability, supporting the company's vision to be national leader.As part of this role, you will have responsibility of leading our modelling strategy and ensure alignment with organisational objectives, maximising outcomes within budgetary and regulatory frameworks to ensure we achieve our targets and deliver sustainable and resilient services.You will be knowledgeable in determining hydraulic, environmental, and operational needs of catchments and developing strategies for performance improvement.You will have experience of optimising modelling practices to ensure the successful delivery of business, service, and asset needs, driving continuous improvement and innovation.If this sounds like an opportunity, you're interested in then apply today!
