Job Description The Job Mission As an HVAC Construction Engineer , you will provide leadership and expertise to deliver critical HVAC construction activities at Hinkley Point C. Your role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, efficiency, and successful project delivery.
? Lead and motivate teams, driving best practices across HVAC construction scopes.
? Define scope boundaries and ensure documentation compliance with MEH and project requirements.
? Oversee HVAC construction workpacks from conception to acceptance, meeting quality standards.
? Collaborate with SMEs and client counterparts to resolve technical issues and ensure progress.
? Support continuous improvement initiatives and procedural enhancements.
? Ensure compliance with nuclear safety, site licenses, and HSE requirements.
? Report to the Building Manager and ensure resource adequacy for project needs.
? Facilitate safe access coordination and topographical surveying to support HVAC construction.
Qualifications Required Skills and Qualifications Essential Skills Degree or HVAC trade qualifications with 5+ years of experience in the field.
Professional accreditation in construction, project management, or engineering.
Proven experience in regulated industries (nuclear, oil & gas, petrochemical, marine).
Knowledge of HVAC systems in major construction projects.
CCNSG Safety Passport and IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH certification.
Desired Skills ? ? Track record of delivering engineering scopes within Joint Ventures.
? Familiarity with permit systems, surveying, and nuclear safety requirements.
? Strong leadership experience within regulated, safety-focused environments.
