Our Vacancy The HV Supervisor is directly responsible for ensuring that all electricity networks are installed in a safe and professional manner and to a high standard and in line with TRICONNEX Method Statements.
The HV Supervisor should have good knowledge of the different DNO/IDNO standards to ensure conformity.
The HV Supervisor is directly responsible to the HV Senior Supervisor.
So, What will I be responsible for?
To be responsible for the overseeing of HV and LV installations To manage and supervise all site personnel To assess potentially hazardous and dangerous situations and to take appropriate action so as to ensure the safety of personnel, other site operatives and the general public To carry out risk assessments of the workplace To carry out audits and inspection of the workplace, tools, equipment and company vehicles To prepare switching programmes for approval by another SAP Engineer To assist in the testing and commissioning of HV/LV distribution systems What do you need to have?
To be considered for this role you must have previous experience with substation installations and a minimum of 2 years experience at AP level.
You will also have; Strong Knowledge of the Electricity Supply, Quality, Continuity Regulations Strong knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regulations Health and Safety at Work Act (Advanced) LV Authorised Person First Aid (Advanced) Risk assessment training (Advanced) Incorporated Engineer (preferable) Experience in distribution systems through the range 400v to 33kv Ability to read schematic drawings and understand content Strong proven background within Electrical Engineering NRSWA, SMSTS and CSCS/SHEA cards IDNO/DNO in date competences Our Business As the business that continues to define multi utility in the residential market, TriConnex works tirelessly to ensure that our residential developer clients have access to experts in all existing and emerging utilities.
