We are looking for a HGV Driver / Yard Operative to join us at Huws Gray Tamworth!

We rely on our HGV Drivers to make sure our customers get their products when and where they need them.
We look after the customers local to our branches, so there'll be no long-haul driving or late nights.

Here's a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as a HGV Driver with Huws Gray:
Making deliveries to our local customers, ensuring they get their materials on time, every time Building great relationships with customers out on the road and representing our brand Keeping up to date with all Health & Safety legislation and administration relating to your role (tachographs, training, delivery notes etc) Taking pride in your vehicle and making sure it is maintained in line with current legislation and company policy This specific role may also require taking on Yard Operative duties and working in the yard as and when required.
Some of these duties could include: Serving our customers out in the yard, providing a good knowledge of the best products for their projects Supporting with incoming deliveries, making sure stock in the yard is put away correctly and kept tidy in line with Health & Safety guidelines Working as a team to help our drivers by loading and unloading vehicles Safeguarding against loss and theft of stock by being security conscious We know that you are more than just a CV and embracing everyone's individuality is what makes us great as a team.
We can give you plenty of training and equip you with the tools that you'll need to succeed as a HGV Driver/Yard Operative , but you will need a Class 2 Licence for this role.
