Day Shift Engineer Huntingdon £50,000 4on 4off Perm Days (6am-6pm) Our client is a leading food manufacturer, that values hard work, teamwork and developing people.
They are part of a global group with multiple sites in the UK, this is one of their flagship growing operations.
They are looking for an electrically biased shift engineer, to join their day shift engineering team.
Role & Responsibilities: Responsible for reactive & planned maintenance across all areas of production Ensure that all breakdowns & PPM's are completed efficiently & effectively Electrical & mechanical fault finding & repairs PLC - electrical fault finding Worked on high-speed food production lines, packaging machinery & automation Dealing with motors, sensors, servo drives, inverters, pneumatics, gearboxes, contactors, relays Assist in any installation & commissioning of new equipment Building & wiring of control panels Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Must have worked in a high-speed food manufacturing environment previously At least NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 qualified in Electrical Engineering Multi-skilled maintenance engineer, ideally electrically biased Worked on relays, contactors, servo drives, inverters, motors Beneficial to have 17th / 18th Edition Ideally have completed a time-served-apprenticeship PLC - electrical fault finding skills Dealt with high-speed food production, packaging machinery and automation Ideally able to build control panels Solid mechanical skills Beneficial if worked in high-care food hygiene standards 'To apply please email your CV / resume to [ ]'.
