Job Title: Humanities RE/History Location: East of England, Essex, Braintree Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £11.66 - £15 Per hour Job Duties: Plan and deliver engaging RE/History lessons to students Create and implement effective lesson plans in line with the curriculum Assess and provide constructive feedback to students on their progress Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in Humanities, History, or a related field Experience teaching RE/History at secondary level Education: Degree in Humanities, History, or a related field Experience: Previous experience teaching RE/History at secondary level Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the RE/History curriculum Excellent classroom management skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Effective communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience working with SEN students Working Conditions: This role involves working in a secondary school setting, interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
Full-time hours are expected, with the possibility of additional responsibilities such as extracurricular activities or parent meetings.
