Ampergia Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR & Industrial Relations Officer to support our human resources functions and manage employee relations.
This role is vital in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and enhancing organizational performance through effective HR strategies.
1.
Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment rights.
Manage grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution processes in accordance with company policy and UK employment law.
Promote effective communication between management and employees to maintain a harmonious working environment.
2.
Recruitment and Onboarding: Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
3.
Performance Management: Support the implementation of performance management systems, including regular appraisals and development plans.
Provide guidance to managers on performance-related issues and employee development strategies.
4.
Policy Development and Compliance: Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.
Ensure compliance with all employment legislation and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws.
5.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and assist in the development of employee training programs.
Coordinate and deliver training sessions related to HR policies, compliance, and employee development.
6.
Reporting and Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
7.
Industrial Relations: Liaise with trade unions and employee representatives to foster positive industrial relations.
Assist in negotiations related to pay, working conditions, and other employment terms.
Requirements Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration Relevant HR qualification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
Desirable: Previous experience in an HR Familiarity with HR software and systems.
Personal Attributes Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
