About the Role: I am working with a leading facilities management company who is looking for an experienced People Business Partner to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will play a key role in developing and delivering people strategies that align with the company's long-term business objectives.
As a People Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leadership to implement HR strategies in areas such as compensation and benefits, recruitment, employee engagement, and talent development. You will be responsible for ensuring that people-related policies and initiatives support the business's current and future needs, while driving organisational performance and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior leaders and key stakeholders to design and implement business-specific people strategies in line with the company's broader HR framework. Provide professional HR guidance on complex people issues, ensuring that the right approach is taken in escalated cases. Partner with the wider HR team to ensure that people policies, initiatives, and procedures are effective, fit for purpose, and aligned with business needs. Develop a deep understanding of the financial and commercial aspects of the business, using this insight to inform HR priorities and People Plan strategies. Monitor and analyse key HR metrics, such as labour costs, employee relations, and sickness absence, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings. Develop and implement action plans to address identified trends and risks, and support business leaders in driving organisational performance. Lead the delivery of training and development initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. The Ideal Candidate: To succeed in this role, you should possess:
A CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above). A background within the prison service, justice system, retail, manufacturing or logistics. Extensive experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally in a fast-paced and complex business environment. Strong knowledge and practical experience in all aspects of HR, including reward and compensation, employee relations, talent management, succession planning, and leadership development. Proven ability to work strategically, delivering high-quality HR support and advice to senior stakeholders. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities using HR data. Familiarity with HR tools and techniques (e.g., TNA, psychometrics, salary surveys) to support training, development, and compensation strategies. A clean driving licence is essential.
