We have three vacancies in the following portfolio areas:Post 1 – HR Advisor (one position)–Pay, Policy, Terms & ConditionsReporting to the Principal Lead Pay, Policy and Terms & Conditions you will provide a comprehensive, professional HR specialist advisory service and guidance and to managers and staff at all levels across the Board covering pay, job evaluation, policy and terms and conditions of service (Agenda for Change terms and conditions).Post 2 – HR Advisor (two positions) – Operational HRReporting to an HR Manager for your designated operational area(s) you will advise, influence, train and coach line managers on how to proceed with employee relations issues including conduct, capability, grievance and attendance.
Postholders will also be required to advise on the application of organisational policies and procedures as well as support the organisation through workforce and service change.Both roles require individuals who are adept at applying an up-to-date understanding of current employment legislation in a multi-unionised environment, where there is emphasis on delivering in partnership on key organisational and departmental objectives.
In both roles the postholders will support a range of senior managers and therefore be comfortable liaising with colleagues across a wide spectrum of professions and grades.To apply for either of these roles you should be educated to degree level in a relevant field and have a post graduate professional HR qualification (e.g.
CIPD) or demonstrable equivalent experience.
You will be able to evidence excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills as well as experience of successfully managing complex employee relations matters.
Previous experience of working in the NHS or public sector would also be desirable.
