We are looking for a Marketing Executive to help raise the profiles and attract new business for four leading brands who provide the very best in creative production and insight services for the games industry and beyond.
• Big Farmer: Creating cinematics, game cutscenes, virtual production and in-camera VFX for games, TV, film, live experiences and more • Fire Without Smoke: A creative storytelling agency dedicated solely to the games industry • Player Research: Conducting game-changing user research to deliver actionable insights into usability, accessibility UX, appeal and play • TrailerFarm: A collective of creative trailer makers producing stand out, award-winning marketing content for games This exciting role would suit an individual with at least 1-2 years marketing experience and a marketing-focused degree who is creative, proactive, and passionate about all things marketing – from social media to brand building.
Responsibilities: Marketing Campaign Content Managing social media profiles as needed - including organic content planning, scheduling, profile management, and community engagement Support in creating brand newsletters in line with campaign activity Regular content creation – including producing short videos and graphics as well as taking photos Writing case studies and articles for studio brand and Keywords channels Work with internal teams to create larger campaign video content – making ofs, showreels, etc Gather and write content to help promote team members, projects, company achievements, awards and press coverage Bring fresh content ideas to the table for our brands and support in scheduling these in using our content planner Managing Digital Touchpoints Regularly review and update the studio brand websites to ensure fresh, engaging copy and imagery Proactively managing updates to the website portfolios - building out listings with assets and copy Assist in keeping touchpoints such as Google Business listings up to date Share content and updates with Keywords marketing team and other stakeholders as needed Grow our following and involvement in industry conversations on key social channels Stay up to date with new publishing formats, trends, and tools on social media General Support Assist in planning and creating awards entries Conduct research into PR opportunities, events, awards and key industry conversations Support with competitor research for our studios Assist with growing and managing marketing databases including industry moves and client updates Help with planning and managing events as needed, including promotion, invites, and collateral Work with line manager and wider team on plans and projects Requirements Industrious, tenacious, pro-active and forward thinking Great communication skills and a proactive player in a small team Genuine desire to learn and develop in the marketing world Creative and meticulous, with a strong eye for detail and design Strong copywriting skills that are adaptable Graphic design and video content creation experience advantageous Energetic, informed, and passionate about the type of work we do An interest in gaming/the games industry beneficial Benefits Bonuses for exceeding goals 25 days holiday entitlement + bank holidays and bonus holiday days BUPA Private Medical Insurance, Life Assurance, Sick pay Pension scheme with Aviva For all employees regardless of BUPA membership, Help@Hand offers a range of valuable medical and practical support services.
