The Opportunity Spadeoak and OCL Regeneration, both part of the Holcim Group, specialise in providing high-quality services in construction, including surfacing, civils, and specialist materials recycling activities.
We are looking for an experienced HSEQ Manager to be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all company operations.
This role is pivotal in maintaining our high standards and leading continuous improvement in these areas.
Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Develop, implement and maintain HSEQ management systems to meet legal, company, and client requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance and identify potential risks.
Lead investigations into incidents and accidents to determine causes and implement corrective actions.
Provide advice and training to employees on HSEQ practices and procedures.
Ensure the company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety, environment and welfare at work.
Prepare and present detailed HSEQ reports to senior management.
Work closely with project teams to develop risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
Who You Are NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
Proven experience in a HSEQ role, ideally within the construction or related industry with experience of environmental permitting and compliance.
Strong knowledge of HSEQ legislation and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
