We have an exciting opportunity for a HSEQ Manager to work with a principal contractor in the Water industry on a permanent basis located on the United Utilities Framework.
As the HSEQ Manager you will support the site teams and managers on a number of projects to meet the requirements of the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management systems.
Benefits: Generous holiday entitlement Company car/car allowance Competitive company pension scheme Life Assurance Private medical cover Permanent Health Cover Responsibilities: Support the provision of Health & Wellbeing within the business, under the direction of the Head of HSEQ & HSEQ Director Provide consistent and accurate HSEQ advice to Advisors and Site Teams where applicable Provide Client support for the region under your control Attend Client HSEQ Forums as required and provide lessons learnt feedback and sharing of best practices Produce and communicate HSEQ alerts following incidents and poor-quality standards to promote learning and prevention and continual improvement Support HSEQ Advisors and complete investigation reviews for HSE investigations Conduct regular visits to support your Advisory Team within the area of your control Provide management support for Facilities Managers at regional company premises on HSE related issues and provisions What do we need from you?
NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent as a minimum but ideally IOSH CEnv or equivalent as a minimum but ideally associate IEMA Extensive HSEQ experience within a civil engineering environment, experience in the water sector would be beneficial but not essential Client facing Sound knowledge of quality controls associated with company work activities Analytical skills to interpret detailed information and regulations Excellent use MS Office – Word, Excel and Powerpoint Effective communicator with strong presentation and report writing skills CSCS Safety Professional card Passion for Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Pay range and compensation pac kage - The salary is indicative and based on experience.
