Position Overview The Global Edge Group, are seeking a Head of HSEQ for a prestigious client in the Oil and Gas industry.
This office-based position is located in Woking and involves travel to project sites in Africa.
The role offers an attractive package to oversee the international HSEQ projects.
Responsibilities & Essential Duties - Demonstrate a personal commitment to workplace safety.
- Establish a strict policy against unsafe behaviors.
- Review and provide constructive feedback on QHSE readiness plans for projects and assets developed by team leads.
- Conduct regular assessments of QHSE deliverables with project leads.
- Collaborate with PMs and HRBP to evaluate and allocate necessary QHSE resources for projects.
- Perform frequent site visits to vessels and field locations, providing feedback to site managers and PMs.
- Ensure compliance with both Contractor and Company policies and procedures for all projects.
- Support project teams during incidents by coordinating with medical response teams, Offshore Construction Managers, and project leads.
- Organize incident review sessions based on the Incident Review Matrix.
- Provide guidance on HSE legislation and liaise with regulatory bodies as needed.
- Analyze data and issue monthly reports to relevant departments and executives.
- Conduct monthly Management Reviews of project HSE management systems to ensure effective operation.
- Collaborate with Company stakeholders on HSE matters and support regional QHSE Managers and Project Managers in meetings as required.
Qualifications - Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- At least ten (10) years in an offshore role.
- At least five (5) years in a management role.
