It is also important to stress that this business has been very resilient to the economic climate and the popularity of their products has shown no sign of diminishing...BASED WREXHAM ROLEThe Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager will be responsible for delivering performance across all aspects of Health & Safety and Environmental management on site.
This includes but is not restricted to: Production processes, communications, training and monitoring systems.To establish and maintain a culture of Safety and Environmental awareness within the business, using a progressive approach by monitoring standards through audits/assessments, reporting on KPI's and carrying out regular reviews with the Site team.
Being the site lead in all H&S matters, developing, implementing and monitoring H&S strategies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the site team and associated activities.Developing, implementing and monitoring environmental strategies that promote full legal, MCERTS and NRW compliance as well as overseeing strategies to reduce key Environmental impacts within the business.
Identifying and resolving environmental problems and ensuring necessary changes are implemented.As part of the Site Leadership Team, they will work on improvement projects aligned to the long-term strategy of the company and will be instrumental in creating a sustainable work environment for the team.To deputise for the HR Manager in periods of absence.CANDIDATEYou will have a proven track record leading a Health & Safety team with experience in the Manufacturing arena.
Experience in the Food industry is desirable but not essential.
You will hold a NEBOSH certificate and you will have excellent communication and engagement skills.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the HSE function with a market leader.
