You will be responsible for; Preparing staff rota's and ensuring the imaging centre is adequately staffed in line with the operational schedule.
Responsible for ensuring the HRA team adhere to all applicable SOP's, procedures and policies and the general operational rules of the imaging centre are adhered to.
Assisting the investigation and resolution of any quality control issues.
Working closely with lab to ensure laboratory QC is maintained at a consistently high level and laboratory KPI's are met.
Take a proactive role in reporting feedback and lessons learned from the imaging centre operation to the project team.
Monitoring and evaluating individual and team performance Overseeing the running of the team and delivering positive and constructive feedback.
Pro-actively highlighting identified risks and issues and working with the Core Imaging Project Team to form risk assessments and update/produce SOPs as necessary.
Ensuring equipment issues are escalated promptly and seeing them through to resolution Ensuring stock control procedures are adhered to and any stock shortages or issues are identified and escalated promptly.
As well as working in a hands-on HRA capacity; Ensuring participant welfare throughout their visit with good level of quality care Ensuring participant's details are correctly identified prior to the examination Maintain the confidentiality of volunteers and staff Obtain blood samples via Venepuncture (training provided) Conduct physical measures to collect data from the participant Conduct study interviews with participants to obtain health information Is this 'You'?
Reporting to the Imaging Centre Manager you will have; Experience of working in a clinical or medical environment.
Experience of line/people management and team leadership Venepuncture skills including a clear understanding of venepuncture safety and infection control.
Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to clearly explain procedures and instructions to participants.
Ability to undertake repetitive tasks to a high quality.
Ability to escalate issues to the relevant person effectively.
Must be disciplined in relation to following protocols and procedures.
Must be proficient in IT (Microsoft Office).
Must be able to maintain confidentiality when working with patient information.
Willingness to travel to other sites as required.
