HR Officer (Hybrid) Location:  Peterborough, Cambridgeshire Salary:  £30,000 per annum + excellent benefits Full-time, Permanent -Flexible Working Considered (hours and days) Are you ready to make a meaningful impact on employee experience?
We're seeking a proactive and organised individual with strong HR generalist experience to join our dynamic team in Peterborough.
Whether you're an experienced HR professional seeking flexibility or an HR Admin ready for the next step, this role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in a hybrid work environment, collaborating closely with our Chief Administrative Officer.
What You'll Be Doing As our HR Officer, you'll have a hand in every HR function, focusing on: Employee Engagement: Drive employee engagement by organizing social events, overseeing recognition awards, and managing the employee survey process.
HR Operations & Compliance: Maintain accurate employee files, manage payroll updates, produce reports, and ensure full data compliance.
Act as the go-to HR contact for staff, assisting team leaders on HR matters like absence and performance management.
Learning & Development: Coordinate training schedules, support our mentoring program, and ensure all team members have growth opportunities.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Work with managers on job ads, arrange interviews, and manage onboarding.
Handle right-to-work checks, organize induction meetings, and guide new starters through a seamless entry experience.
What We're Looking For Experience:  Experience in an HR Admin or generalist role, ready to step up and bring new ideas.
Interest in HR:  Professional courses or certifications in HR are a plus but not required.
Skills:  Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Approach:  Self-starter, adaptable, and comfortable working in a hybrid role (ideally 3 days in-office, with flexible hours and days).
