HR Manager - Manufacturing MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an organisation who are going from strength to strength, a leading manufacturer, who are currently seeking to appoint an HR Manager on a permanent basis. The role The successful HR Manager will report to the directors and working closely with the wider Senior Management team on a day-to-day basis. There is a lot of autonomy in the role, with the successful HR Manager working in a stand-alone capacity. The role will cover the entire generalist remit, including employee relations, recruitment & selection, talent management, learning and development, as well as designing and implementing new policies and procedures in line with current legislation. The HR Manager will also be responsible for identifying any training and development needs, keeping an employee competency database for succession planning and redeployment purposes. You will also work closely with the Senior and Middle management teams to embed organisational values and high performing culture, as well as supporting other strategic projects when required. Maintaining a structured and successful talent management strategy is high on the agenda with this role, ensuring the best talent remain engaged within the organisation. The right fit Suitable candidates must be CIPD qualified, ideally with a degree, possessing a proven track record within an organisation where they have worked with senior team members. This is a role that while operational, will have a key focus on the strategic direction of the business, therefore the successful candidate will have previous experience of influencing and building relationships at a senior level.
