Fantastic opportunity for a standalone HR Manager to join this 5* boutique hotel based in Central London.
This is a standalone role, reporting directly into the General Manager with a dotted line into the group VP HR.
Responsible for the end-to-end employee lifecycle, this role will support and provide HR Assistance across all areas of HR (L&D, Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment, Employee Relations, Compliance).
You will be the first point of contact for employees and advise or escalate queries as appropriate.
Key duties will include, Full responsibility for the employee lifecycle; including recruitment, on-boarding, performance reviews, training & succession, exit interviews, culture and wellbeing for a headcount of circa 70 employees.
Manage the on-boarding and induction process ensuring that new starters are warmly welcomed and able to settle in quickly and smoothly.
Ensure that all administrative/contractual procedures are promptly and accurately carried out, for example: change of hours, change of job title, transfers, maternity cover arrangements, contract extensions and renewals etc Work closely with departmental heads and senior management to align HR strategies with operational needs.
To handle all employee relation matters in line with UK employment law Along with the General Manager promote a positive and engaging work culture As HR Manager you will have the following experience; Previous generalist HR experience from within a luxury hotel Proven experience managing recruitment and ER processes Excellent knowledge on UK legislation, ideally CIPD qualified Good relationship building skills with experience of working closely and advising senior leaders Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
