Job summary We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced HR manager (head of workforce) to join us on a full time basis to cover a maternity contract.

We are the largest GP partnership in north east Essex, comprising 8 local GP practices with over 350 employees across our sites.
You will play a key leadership role in the ongoing transformation of the organisation and help us to realise our ambitions in the delivery and development of high quality and regulatory compliant primary care services.
You will provide expert people advice and guidance to partners, managers and staff on all workforce matters, supporting managers to build solutions in dealing with complex casework, restructures, organisational development, succession planning, performance, resourcing and employee relations issues.
Main duties of the job Reporting to the chief executive officer (as part of the executive team), you will be responsible for managing all employment processes, from recruitment and onboarding, employee relations and developing policies, to staff wellbeing and pay.
You will ensure that the partnership attracts, retains and develops the best workforce possible.You will provide management information to aid workforce development, and ensure that manual and computerised data is managed within the requirements of the Data Protection Act and is GDPR compliant.We reserve the right to close the advert early if sufficient applications are received.

Person Specification Experience Essential Previous HR business partnering or consultancy experience.

Qualifications Essential An experienced professional with both operational and strategic level expertise, and preferably level 5 or 7 CIPD qualification.
