Impact, Initiative and Autonomy London based role with hybrid working Base salary circa £80,000 This is a compelling opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist with solid HR business partnering and people management skills coupled with commercial acumen and a passion for business to lead the HR function for our client, a global supply chain organisation focused on providing end-to-end solutions to prominent brands in the consumer retail industry.
Leading a small HR team in the UK, you will be a significant part of the global HR team and contribute to global initiatives and projects.
Locally, you will take the lead on all HR matters related to the UK business, collaborating with senior leaders to align HR strategy with business plans for growth.
This role has a high level of autonomy and opportunity to make a significant impact.
Key areas of responsibility include Providing advice, coaching and guidance to the senior leadership team and work in a true business partnering capacity; End-to-end of the talent agenda including talent management, development and performance management; Identify training needs and roll out of L&D initiatives; Management and governance of HR information, policies and employee records and HR administration systems; Champion employee engagement, ESG agenda, HR communication, positive working culture and enhance wellbeing; Industrial relations management including restructuring and transformation; Development of the UK total rewards program.
The successful candidate will have proven experience working in a full-spectrum HR generalist role, have solid people management and senior stakeholder management skills, possess a commercial mind-set and be numerically literate with the ability to understand budgets.
You enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment and have a high level of integrity and strong sense of ethics.
Previous experience gained working within the logistics or supply chain industry will be critical to this role.
As this position offers a high level of autonomy, applicants should demonstrate a proactive, hands-on and self-motivated approach to their work.
