Hays have an exciting new role as a HR Generalist for a company based in Exeter.
Job Details: This is a full-time, on-site role where you will be responsible for implementing HR policies and providing a first-class generalist HR service to managers and employees.
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will play a key role in supporting the business objectives of the department and the company.
Main Duties: Be a proactive member of the HR team, supporting the Head of HR as required Work collaboratively with managers to handle disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management, and other HR procedures Ensure policies, procedures, and processes are applied consistently, fairly, and professionally in line with current legislation and company policy Oversee all aspects of HR administration, delegating tasks to the HR administrator as appropriate Liaise closely with and support the in-house recruitment team as needed Assist with ad hoc HR-related projects Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required: Minimum 1 year of experience supporting disciplinaries, sickness management, and grievances from investigation to outcome Thorough knowledge of UK employment law Extensive employee relations experience Experience providing operational advice on a range of employment matters to managers and employees Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) If you fit the criteria and are looking for a new opportunity, then please apply.
