Join Our Team as an HR Data & Systems Officer Contract - 9 month Fixed Term - to cover Maternity Leave Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours Monday - Friday 09.00 -17.00 Location: Remote working - with travel to our Birmingham office as and when needed Reports to: Head of Reward & HR Shared Services Purpose As the HR Data & Systems Officer, you will collaborate with the People team, particularly the HR Systems, Data and Compliance Specialist, HR Shared Services, Payroll, and the People Partnering team.
Your goal will be to enhance the delivery of our People and Culture service by improving systems, reporting, and processes.
Key Accountabilities: Timely Data Provision: Deliver accurate HR/workforce data, reports, and information promptly.
System Development: Enhance the HR system, ensuring business processes are aligned and optimized for maximum benefits.
Report Production: Create and submit essential reports, including Executive and Business report packs, staffing returns, and compliance returns.
Workforce Information: Provide HR Partners and Business Leaders with necessary workforce information and data.
Information Management: Maintain systems and processes to deliver timely management information to support departmental and organisational work.
Project Assistance: Contribute to improvement projects by offering systems and process knowledge from planning to implementation.
Data Presentation: Clearly present data, analytics, and information to communicate facts, trends, and anomalies effectively.
Metric Development: Develop metrics to monitor the progress of People Strategy and Plans.
Report and Dashboard Creation: Utilise CIPHR and other reporting systems to create accessible reports and dashboards for various stakeholders.
Regular Audits: Conduct regular audits of internal operations to ensure compliance with company policy and legislation, escalating risks as necessary.
Monthly Data Checks: Perform monthly checks to ensure employee data accuracy, investigate inaccuracies, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Team Support: Assist the HR Data, Systems, and Compliance Specialist in developing and implementing training materials to upskill teams in HR system usage.
Systems Transformation - Support the People Team data and systems transformation journey.
Competencies & Qualifications: Passion for systems and data, with experience working with HR systems and data.
Ability to analyse, interpret, and present data for a wide range of audiences.
Strong internal and external relationship-building skills.
Effective communication skills, including the ability to coach and develop others in HR systems usage.
Attention to detail, commitment to quality work, and strong organizational skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including identifying improvement opportunities.
Proactive interest in developing knowledge of new systems, concepts, and methods.
