Job SummaryAnord Mardix, a Flex company, are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world's largest companies.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a HR Business Partner located in Castle Mills, Kendal or Blackburn.Reporting to the Senior HR BP, the HR Business Partner will build and sustain effective, trusted relationships with senior leaders, working in partnership to develop and influence their HR activities, challenges and opportunities in the UK.
You will coach and manage the HR Operations and Payroll teams with 3 direct reports.
What a typical day looks like: Support and advise Head of HR, and Senior Leaders by providing specialist HR knowledge and skills in HR investigations, activities, and workforce planningProvide advice, guidance, and support on aspects of change management, local workforce development, absence management, policies, workforce profiling, assisting with organisations vision and strategies, wellbeing initiatives, terms and conditions and pay/job evaluation issuesProvide expert advice and support on complex disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance management cases.
To manage complex, high-profile cases with the appropriate senior leadersAct as a role model, working with managers and staff to propose plans and strategies to develop our core values and behaviours by demonstrating commitment to the organisation's valuesInfluence and challenge senior leaders to shape and bring to life the culture of inclusion across directorates, supporting the overall D&I business strategyAdvise and coach business on matters related to talent management, including HR requirements, workforce planning, management selection, executive coaching, performance management, retention, succession planning, and change management, etcPartner with local HR teams and Centres of Expertise to develop and deliver integrated people and organization solutions, Anticipate talent implications and impact to the organization.
Identify issues and opportunities in closing organizational performance gaps and/or deploy effective tools and programs to achieve strategic vision and goals of the businessSupport business segment in cascading goals to optimize alignment between business and human capital strategies, ensuring effective implementationDrive efficiency and positive organizational results through lean initiatives, alignment of systems, processes and structures to drive the right people behaviour and engagementAssist the business in making informed decisions with regard to people investment to achieve sustainable business resultsAssist with HR communications and training of managers on new programs, systems and processes as requiredBuild strong internal customer relationships that foster a positive partnership with the businessThe experience we're looking to add to our team:Previous experience in a similar generalist HR role at BP / Senior Advisor level, with direct responsibility for providing first line support to managers and employeesCIPD level 5 qualified with a minimum of 5 years HR experience at Advisor levelBe self-motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious with a high standard of attention to detail.
