The Role As a generalist HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor, collaborating with leaders across the organization to drive people strategies that align with business objectives.
This is a hands-on role where you will manage day-to-day HR operations while delivering strategic initiatives that contribute to the growth and development of our client's teams.
Coaching and mentoring leaders is a big focus in this role, as developing people and their leadership skills is a big par of this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities • Partner with leadership to understand business needs and provide strategic HR guidance.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management, team dynamics, and career development.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, mitigating risks and promoting best practices.
• Analyse HR metrics and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Manage employee relations, offering guidance and solutions that align with organizational values.
• Lead or support projects related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability in the workforce.
What We're Looking For • Proven experience as a HR Manager or People Partner ideally within a fast-paced industry such as retail, manufacturing or hospitality.
• Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Demonstrated success in driving HR initiatives that align with business goals.
• A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a knack for balancing strategic and operational responsibilities.
• Knowledge of HR systems and data-driven decision-making tools is a plus.
