What we're looking for We are seeking an enthusiastic and diligent HR Assistant to support with a variety of HR related tasks.
You will play a key role in delivering day to day HR administration and advice across all aspects of HR including recruitment and selection, probation, contractual changes and policy implementation.
You will have an excellent eye for detail,?outstanding communication and organisational skills and be committed to offer a first class support service for a busy department.
The key duties include but not limited to: Provide day to day support and advice to Leaders and Manager in relation to HR queries Draft letters and issue of contract paperwork Monitor the HR inbox supporting the team as needed Recruitment and Selection across the college Conduct Audits to ensure data is up to date and accurate.
Support the starter and leaver process including play a key roll in Staff Induction Manage staff data and payroll submissions Maintenance of personnel files Note taking in formal meetings You will have: Maths and English GCSE or Equivalent Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification / relevant experience Experience of HR administration (school experience preferable) An understanding of Safer Recruitment and wider Human Resource Processes Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive issues effectively Proven ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
