Our client is a successful growing outdoor professional services business; with an established client base all over the country the core operational team work together in an open plan office in the Melton area. The role of HR Coordinator / Advisor will work closely with the MD who has an ambitious 5 year strategy to take the business to the next level and increase headcount.

You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in HR and will be looking for more responsibility; a confident communicator and a HR Generalist you will also be comfortable supporting the admin and customer service team when needed.

Key duties include: Managing the recruitment process from sifting candidates, supporting with interviews and overseeing the onboarding process. Managing daily absence and overseeing the sickness & absence process. Supporting with performance management, conducting investigations & disciplinaries (with the support of our external HR consultant). Responsible for employee wellbeing within the business, engaging with our employees to drive engagement and promote continued loyalty. Responsible for the Employee Handbook. We are looking for someone who is friendly and who has a people first approach. You will need to be organised, have strong written communication skills and be proficient in general administrative tasks. Experience working within a payroll function would be advantageous. Operations side - provide general administrative support ie scheduling routes for technicians, answering calls and dealing with day to day customer queries.
