: You'll provide: · Comprehensive first-line HR support and advice to management and colleagues, specifically by managing our inbound HR queries and processes · Support to managers on absence management processes and supporting colleagues back to work effectively through signposting to supportive services, ensuring absence management processes are followed, attending absence welfare meetings and supporting managers and colleagues through formal absence processes · First-line employee relations support · KPI reporting · Effective implementation of HR policies and procedures This role requires someone tenacious with attention to detail and strong problem solving abilities.
You'll already have experience or qualifications in: · Absence Management: Provide advice and support to managers on employee relations issues, particularly absence management and first-line ER cases · Colleague Support: Finding solutions to HR queries from colleagues · Proven experience in an HR advisory role · Confident, self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities · Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Making risk-based decisions and has strong conflict resolution skills · High level of discretion and confidentiality · Finding solutions to problems and communicates challenges effectively
