Applications are now being invited for the role in the rank of Constable.
The locations of the postings are Tadcaster Police Station and Thirsk Police Station.
The posts operate under the Specialist Operations Directorate.

Essential Criteria: Operationally and occupationally competent (on-line)as Armed Response Vehicle Officer Can demonstrate knowledge of policies and guidelines relating to the police use of firearms Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills Advanced Driver including Initial Phase Pursuit Trained Desirable Skills: Specialist Firearms Skill (Tactical Rifle, Close Protection, Working at Heights, Shotgun) Operational Firearms Commander Tactical Phase Pursuit Training In addition, at the time of application submission candidates must be able to confirm; They are not subject to formal action plans for sickness/complaints/discipline or poor performance A Satisfactory rating, or above, was achieved on the last reporting year PDR All mandatory training is up to date.
