Our client, a trusted partner of the UK's Ministry of Defence, is seeking an experienced HR Administrator to scan and convert paper personnel files into an electronic format, ensuring non-essential papers are separated before scanning.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and well-organised Learning and Development Administrator.
This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of our training rooms and supporting L&D advisors in delivering learning and development solutions within our multinational defence systems business.
What we're looking for: Recruitment Administration Experience: Must have prior experience in recruitment administration within a high-volume recruitment/resourcing function.
Working Under Pressure: Capable of performing effectively when under pressure.
Multi-tasking Skills: Ability to handle a variety of complex support/administration activities simultaneously.
Communication Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Autonomous Work: Should be able to work independently and manage one's own workload efficiently.
Planning and Organisation: Strong planning and organizational skills are required, with an emphasis on multitasking.
Workflow Management: Ability to monitor and prioritize workflow to meet deadlines.
Customer Service: Patience and courtesy are necessary to serve as the initial contact point for all HR-related queries.
Technical Skills: Excellent PC skills, including MS Office, OneHr, SAP, and experience with recruitment systems are desirable.
Self-Motivation: Must be a self-starter and motivated to perform the role to an excellent standard.
What you'll get to do as a HR Administrator: In this role, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating and organizing interviews for general hires, working closely with managers and BSOs.
They will book interviews on Onehr and send confirmations to both managers and candidates.
Additionally, they will monitor Onehr for conditional and firm offers, updating contract requirements as necessary.
The candidate will also keep track of emails from Occupational Health and Security, updating Onehr with candidate and security statuses.
They will chase candidates for any missing data and update SAP with their pension status.
Furthermore, the candidate will update the payroll spreadsheet with bonus payments and process Hedd checks.
They will assist with the administration process for leavers, ensuring a smooth transition and exit from the business.
Lastly, they will liaise with the Resourcing Administration team to improve processes and practices, with a focus on cost savings.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply.
As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by our clients Security Team.

This role is based at their headquarters site in Stevenage which plays a key part in missiles operations.
