Job Description As the HDR Team Leader, you will supervise and manage your team to ensure adherence to the firm's policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to ensure the team meets its targets and objectives.
Foster a positive atmosphere that embraces change and encourages enthusiasm.
Allocate and prioritise workloads effectively among team members.
Relationship Management: Develop effective working relationships with senior management, other team leaders, staff, clients, and external agencies.
Chair team meetings and facilitate clear communication.
Client Service Standards: Maintain high standards of client service by monitoring performance and auditing workloads.
Conduct investigations in line with the firm's complaints policy and analyse trends for improvement.
Policy Development: Participate in the development of departmental policies, procedures, and strategic plans.
Contribute to the recruitment and induction of new staff.
Compliance and Training: Stay updated on developments in housing disrepair and ensure staff are informed about relevant legislation and policies.
Ensure compliance with departmental and firm wide standards.
Additional Duties: Carry out other duties as required to support the firm's operations.
Specific Tasks: Managing Team Members: Handle leave requests and ensure business continuity during absences.
Conduct Return to Work meetings and probation reviews.
Address performance issues with the support of the Operations Manager and HR.
Performance Management: Manage a personal caseload with direct support from a Paralegal.
Coach and mentor team members to achieve individual and team targets.
Audit team members' work to assess effectiveness and provide constructive feedback.
Growth and Collaboration: Regularly liaise with fellow team leaders to share knowledge and address operational challenges.
Engage with other department managers to resolve inter-departmental issues.
Meet quarterly with Directors to align on business objectives and growth strategies.
Person Specification: To excel as a Team Leader, candidates should possess a mix of technical and personal skills, including: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
