Job Description Due to continued growth, our client is expanding and has several exciting opportunities for experienced Solicitors and Fee Earners specialising in Housing Disrepair in both Manchester and Liverpool.

Role Responsibilities: As a Housing Disrepair Solicitor / Fee Earner, you will manage a caseload of pre- and post-litigation claims primarily under Sections 9a and 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.
You will handle cases from inception to conclusion, ensuring compliance with the Pre Action Protocol for Housing Conditions.
Key Tasks: Manage a caseload of housing disrepair claims on behalf of tenants Draft Letters of Claim and collate special damages Review housing records and surveyor's reports to assess liability Negotiate settlements and conduct mediations Liaise with counsel and issue court proceedings as necessary Utilise Proclaim (claims management software) effectively Communicate clearly and build positive relationships with clients and colleagues Perform additional duties to support the smooth operation of the business Requirements Ideal Candidate: We welcome applicants with varying levels of experience, including those transitioning from fast-paced litigation backgrounds.
