An exciting opportunity has arisen for Housekeeper to join our team within the Acute Medicine Unit at Raigmore Hospital.
The Acute Medicine Unit covers an Acute Medical Assessment area, Ambulatory Emergency Care and Medical High Dependency Unit.This post is based within the Acute Assessment Unit - The Acute Assessment Unit admits all specialities of patients 24/7 providing a fast paced and interesting environment to work within.You should be able to work well as part of a large and diverse multidisciplinary team.
Candidates should have excellent care values and a strong sense of team spirit coupled with a sense of humour.
Candidates should have enthusiasm to work, learn and develop yourself and colleagues within the exciting and challenging high pressure environment.
You should possess excellent communication and organisational skills.Our housekeeper role is essential to support the team on AMU, responsible for supporting the team through maintaining a high standard of housekeeping on the ward.Hours of work will be 0800-2030 covering a 7 day period on a rota basis.Experience in this type of role would be preferred but not essential.NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
