Main duties of the job Themain duties of the role will be to clean all areas following the NationalStandards of Cleanliness, this includes signing off sheets to confirm the workhas been completed.Servefood, complete relevant paperwork which include food temperature checks.Preparesmall amounts of food from the freezer.Workas a team and be able to prioritise your workload.Potentialfor overtime if needed to cover sickness and holidays.

Job description Job responsibilities Toprovide a high standard of domestic, catering and general household dutieswithin a ward environment for people with mental health problems.
Duties willbe carried out in line with the National standards of cleanliness.Strictly apply the ruleof confidentiality with regard to confidential information concerning serviceusers and their care.Maintain confidentialityregarding colleagues in order not to compromise their safety or well being.Ensure that all relevantinformation obtained during the course of interactions with service users isshared with the nurse in charge of the ward area.Establishand maintain good working relationships and clear areas of communications withward staff and service users whilst delivering the core duties of ahousekeeping serviceReceiveand store all food in accordance with set standards and Trust policy.To checkstocks of sundry items, food and linenTostore linen personal clothing as laundered and ensure sufficient stocks areavailable at all times to meet service user requirements.SupportService users in guiding them to use laundry equipment when required.Communicatewith multidisciplinary teams (nursing staff, catering, dieticians andfacilities) to ensure service users receive special diets in accordance withnutritional requirements and care plans.Liaiseand communicate any menu changes and answer any queries relating to menuchanges with service users and nursing staff.
