The Trust has some exciting changes coming, which has given us the chance to hire for a variety of housekeeping roles, providing a full cleaning service over our two inpatient sites in South Derbyshire, Kingsway Hospital and the Radbourne unit (located on Royal Derby site) Available positions are 5 day week most with alternate weekends and as follows: 30 hr/w (Includes food service) 30 hr/w 20 hr/w 15 hr/w 25 hr/w 30 hr/w 15 hr/w (Includes food service) 15 hr/w Preferred shift type will be ascertained at interview on successful shortlisting.
Main duties of the job Housekeepers provide a high class cleaning service to all buildings within the Trust, creating a clean environment for all patients, visitors, and staff.Duties Damp mopping and buffing of all floor surfaces, including using machinery.
Periodic maintenance as included in the cleaning schedules.Vacuum cleaning of all carpet areas, including use of machinery.Damp dusting all radiators, pipes and ledges.Cleaning of all furniture and fittings by the appropriate method.High dusting.Cleaning of partition glass and inside of windows where necessary.Cleaning of all sanitary fitments.Cleaning wall tiles.Replenishing disposable items, paper towels, soap, rubbish sacks, etc.Emptying of refuse bins and removing to place of disposal.
