Position Title: Housekeeper (Housing Clerk / Cleaner) Reference: London-2024-053-RA2 Location: U.S. Embassy London Annex in Croughton Closing Date: December 20, 2024 Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week Salary: £27,541 gross starting salary per annum Benefits: - Bi-weekly salary payments - Merit Based Compensation (Performance Related Pay awards) - Private Medical Insurance and Life Insurance Plans - U.S. Embassy Group Personal Pension Plan - Employee Assistance Program - Annual and Sick Leave - UK and U.S. paid public holidays - Season Ticket Loan (Transportation) - Training opportunities & personal development Working in the Residential Services section of the U.S. Embassy London Annex in Croughton as the Housekeeper (Housing Clerk / Cleaner), you will conduct U.S. Government temporary quarters (TQ) check-outs to assess for damages and any missing items and provide summary reports to the Senior Property Coordinator.
You will be responsible for replenishing amenities, stripping beds to remove blankets and sheets, making beds, replacing towels, putting away kitchen/bathroom/laundry supplies in the correct location, and for performing light spot cleaning.
You will launder and properly store items in the Housing Hut facility and transport materials between the Housing Hut and the TQs.
Other responsibilities include: - rubbish removal and proper placement of TQ bins.
- managing requests for arrival and departure transit kits, including their delivery and inventory of items in the kits once returned.
- serving as an aid for vendors and contractors inside and around occupied residences as required.

EDUCATION : Completion of Primary school is required.
EXPERIENCE : A minimum of two (2) years experience in residential or commercial housekeeping duties as a member of a team.
LANGUAGE : English: Good working knowledge; speaking, reading & writing ( this may be tested ).
SKILLS & ABILITIES : Must have a current manual, valid and clean UK/EU/EEA drivers license.
