We require a part-time Housekeeper to help us maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient environment on D502 - Day Unit at the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre.
You will be responsible for the ordering and organisation of stores, as well as an array of non-clinical tasks with additional duties as directed by the nursing staff.
You will work closely with the nursing team in a supportive role.
Working days will primarily be Monday to Friday.
Experience in Housekeeping is desirable but not essential.
You must have strong organisation, IT, and time management skills and be able to be innovative with a zest for new challenges as the department grows and develops new services.
Good communication skills are also essential as the role involves liaising with members of the multi-disciplinary teams within the hospital.

Main duties of the job Keeping the day unit environment well stocked and free of clutter Ordering using our internal ordering system and maintaining stores Locating new items we require, contacting suppliers, and obtaining quotations Creating and maintaining checklists i.e., cleaning/equipment checks Checking dates on stock monthly Contacting Webbs (external company) for removals Liaise with Hotel Services if anything needs changing/cleaning or a deep clean – or for any general queries.
