A respected market leader within the Commercial Interiors sector, who have experienced rapid growth over the last 10 years are looking to strengthen their team with the key recruitment of an additional Specification sales manager within the Housebuilder sector.
About the Role: Were looking for an experienced Sales Manager to take on the challenge of penetrating various aspects of the Housebuilder and Developer market through key clients and specifiers that operate within the sector.
As the fast-growing construction market evolves at pace, your role will be to keep at the forefront of the market and new projects spotting and leveraging opportunities to grow sales with existing products and customers; and proactively creating openings to sell in products and bring new customers on board.
Youll have all the tools to do the job: the broadest product range, great delivery support and top-class customer service.
Youll need to leverage your potential through your customer relationship building skills, tenacity and drive to build and grow the area.
Location: M62 Corridor Lancashire, Manchester, Merseyside, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire Specifically, you will be responsible for: Develop a customer list across the UK, creating a specific business plan to proactively identify and target growth opportunities.
Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers at all levels of the customer hierarchy, in order to provide support and develop awareness of the companys products and services.
Sell and influence the sale of products and services within margin guidelines.
Maximise the sales of all products across different applications (by market sector) to ensure the highest margin opportunity can be achieved whilst ensuring billings targets are reached or exceeded.
Identify, record, monitor and convert project opportunities within the marketplace to maintain and improve market share.
Identify market and competitor information and feed it back to the business in order to ensure market requirements and competitor developments are incorporated into marketing and product plans.
Key Skills/Experience Required: Were looking for a sales professional who shares our passion for the floor covering sector; its products and trends.
Youll need to have the tenacity, enthusiasm and can-do attitude to take this amazing brand and build both excitement and commitment amongst customers.
Being out on the road means youll need to be self-reliant and self-motivated, but wed like you to be a great team player too!

About You: Were looking for a proven Sales professional who has experience within the Housebuilder, developer, Local authority, Housing Association sector.
You will have experience managing National and Regional Key Accounts, ideally within the Commercial Interiors sector or the Building Products, KBB or DIY markets.
Youll need to be organised, structured and conscientious in how you approach your business planning, customer visits, reporting and follow-up activity.
