Key Responsibilities: Training and Development: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs for FOH team members, including onboarding, ongoing development, and cross-training.
Ensure all FOH staff are trained to provide excellent customer service and are knowledgeable about the Slim Chickens menu, brand standards, and operational procedures.
Conduct hands-on training sessions, role-playing exercises, and team-building activities to enhance skills in customer interaction, food presentation, and overall guest experience.
Regularly update training materials to reflect current best practices, menu updates, and operational changes.
Leadership and Coaching: Act as a mentor and coach to FOH team members, providing continuous feedback and guidance to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement action plans to address any skill gaps or service deficiencies.
Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and a guest-first mentality.
Operational Support: Work closely with restaurant management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations at the FOH.
Assist with scheduling, resource allocation, and staff placement to ensure adequate coverage and maintain service quality.
Ensure all FOH staff adhere to food safety, health, and sanitation standards at all times.
Customer Interaction: Model exceptional customer service, consistently demonstrating Slim Chickens' high standards of hospitality.
Resolve guest concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement: Assess the effectiveness of training programs and processes through regular evaluations and feedback from staff and customers.
Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement best practices in training and FOH service.
Stay updated on industry trends, customer service techniques, and training innovations to ensure Slim Chickens remains at the forefront of guest experience.
Qualifications: Previous experience in a management or leadership role in a fast-casual or full-service restaurant environment.
Proven experience in training and developing FOH team members.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of customer service principles and hospitality best practices.
Ability to motivate and lead a diverse team in a high-paced environment.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A passion for food, hospitality, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Preferred: Experience working with a similar restaurant brand.
Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
