Band 6 Pharmacist Outpatients Dispensary Role – Immediate Start - Suitable for newly qualified Pharmacists or community Pharmacists!
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Pharmacist to join a busy NHS Hospital Outpatients Pharmacy team located in Essex.
This is a mainly outpatients dispensary-based role, ideal for someone with community pharmacy experience or someone who is new to the GPHC, looking to gain experience in a hospital setting!
Key Details: Location : Essex - NH Hospital - Outpatients Pharmacy (Fully on-site) Start Date : ASAP (up to 6 months) Hours : 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM (45-minute lunch break) – flexibility on the hours Contract Length : Up to 6 months Days : Monday to Friday Pay Rate : £23 - £26 per hour (PAYE Direct Engagement) Role Overview: The successful candidate will be involved in a range of duties, including: Screening outpatient prescriptions .
Speaking with patients , providing advice on medications.
Dispensing medications and liaising with doctors in outpatient clinics.
This is a great role for someone who is newly qualified and looking to build their experience in a hospital pharmacy environment.
Community pharmacists with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
Requirements: Band 6 level only – no Band 7 or above.
No remote working ; the role is fully on-site.
Parking available on-site (charges apply, but free parking is available if you arrive before 8:45 AM).
Part-time options may be considered, but full-time is preferred.
