The Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Manager to lead Wimbledon House with passion, vision, and compassion.
As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care, creating a welcoming and safe environment, and driving the overall operational and financial success of the home.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of Wimbledon House, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative standards.
Inspire, mentor, and support a diverse team of care professionals, fostering a culture of respect and collaboration.
Develop and implement strategies to deliver outstanding care tailored to individual resident needs.
Oversee budgets and financial performance, ensuring sustainable operations.
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders, maintaining trust and open communication.
Continuously monitor and improve quality standards to achieve and maintain an exceptional rating with regulatory bodies.
What We're Looking For: Proven experience in a managerial role within a care home or similar setting.
A deep understanding of CQC regulations and best practices in residential care.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and empower staff.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
A compassionate and resident-centred approach to care delivery.
Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent).
